This place is a total catfish! The photo and reviews are not accurate. The photos online have to be 5 year old, there is so much deferred maintenance that’s it’s actually gross. They gave that place the land lord special and just painted over everything. The tiles on the floor and shower walls are literally painted over. The carpets need to be replaced they stink and hold musty dusty odors. The towels are so old and crunchy especially the yellow pool towels they have not been replaced ever. They were so old and see through from years of use and washing. There is no room service. We woke up every day with a text saying no room service today and to cal the front desk, guess what they won’t answer. The front desk lady was rude. I tried calling no answer when I walked up i asked for late checkout and she said absolutely not, she didn’t even let me finish my sentence I had to repeat myself and ask for late check out for two days later as we had a late lunch reservation. The day beds at the pool are ooooolllldddd and rusty like really bad. The trash cans are all rusty too. They will charge you a lot or Otherwise they make you use dirty dingy yellow lounge chairs that are honestly filthy. I met several influencers at the pool and they all agreed this place is old and gross and they all got rooms for favorable reviews. Don’t believe any of the other reviews Theyre skewed.

What a fun place to stay! Room was big, staff very friendly and helpful. A bit of an odor in the room when we walked in—maybe a carpet clean would do the trick. I would highly recommend the Saguaro.

Overall, was excited to stay here. The iconic views and colors. However, upon arrival, the rooms and property are truly run down. Paint chipping off. Stained carpets. In their bar, slow service, multiple messed up orders. Text message on a Saturday informing us that there would be no room service. At $500 a night just unacceptable. This place might be nostalgic, or iconic for the colors, but it deserves a 2 or 3 stars max. It’s a colorful Motel 6. Be advised.

We had the best time at the Saguaro. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. Our room was great! The pool was great! The restaurant El Jefe had delicious food and cocktails. Upon check in it was discovered that they had given our room to someone else. Someone with the same first name and last initial. We both "pre" checked in. There was no apology, only a , well I can give you this other room (that is not the same that you reserved). I told her that, unfortunately, that would not suffice and she need to rectify the situation. She gave us a room and never apologized or empathize. Literally acted like I was a burden. She also decided not to give us our breakfast vouchers, so we had to track those down the next morning. The front desk again seemed annoyed with us and was on her personal phone. She did put it down once to begrudgingly hand over some vouchers. The rooms are very "lipstick on a pig" which I hate to say. The paint is chipping, the carpet is pulling and the tubs are kinda gross. The grounds are cool, I guess. Pretty sure there are just as cool places in the area without all the poor service and room quality. WE come to PS every year. I'm confident to say we will never stay here agian.

Staff is so bad , the facility is so bad in the room . The toilet is not sturdy, it needs to fix , the room is not clean . The manager of the front desk Chris doesn’t know what he is doing . Very bad attitude, when I made a complaint with the room service , he said , because the people were checking out a lot , so the room service was not doing well . What a ridiculous excuse! Be aware of this hotel !
