"Très bien dans l'ensemble. La cuisine très complète. Les lits confortables, l'appartement spacieux et agréable. La pression insuffisante de la chasse d'eau des toilettes. Les lumières trop fortes dans les chambres (trop agressif). Four assez dangereux (le poignet brulant). Insonorisation entre les appartements insuffisante, mais ca sera difficile d'y remédier. "We really enjoyed our stay- the apartment is styled super nicely, the furniture is high quality and the layout of the apartment makes it very cozy and liveable. The view is amazing, you’re basically living on the beach and it was so quiet that you could hear the waves all the time. The only negative was the cleanliness of the place. "I could not have selected a better place to stay for my first visit to Costa Brava. The Casa Piedra Abajo had everything I needed - from the terrazas with their spectacular views to a kitchen with all the necessities. It was peaceful and tranquil- just what I needed. Carin & Fritz are the perfect hosts- they even provided a bottle of champagne for me! I can’t recommend their property enough and look forward to returning!"

"Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Urlaub. Man kann gut Ausflüge machen von der Wohnung aus. Zu Fuß zum Strand ist es allerdings etwas mühsam, wenn man mit kleineren Kindern Unterwegs ist. Die Wohnung war sauber, geräumig. Nur der Wasserkocher fehlte in der Küche."

"Positiv: toller Meerblick, Schöner Pool, Aufzug und Tiefgaragenstellplatz, Große Terrasse, Waschmaschine, gute Geräteausstattung in der Küche Negativ: Mobiliar einfach und veraltet und teilweise defekt, Sammelsurium an Gläsern und Geschirr, keine deutschen Fernsehsender, Bad renovierungs-bedürftig, im Sommer sicher sehr laut da unmittelbar an einem großen Strandparkplatz und Restaurants gelegen und die Anlage sehr groß ist, in der Nebensaison ruhig"

"We loved staying at this villa! We were a group of 10 friends (2 children) The setting was fantastic on the outskirts of the main town, so really quiet and peaceful and on the edge of the forest that you look out to from the pool. The pool is fantastic, it’s huge, at great temperature and plenty of shade sunbeds and tables to sit out at. Check in was simple with the agent, we were able to check in early, which was very helpful. Communications from the owner were also very quick and helpful. There are two good restaurants and a well stocked Spa supermarket within walking distance - it is all downhill though so an uphill walk back which is tricky if it’s hot. There is very little parking near the beach so would recommend hiring bikes to get around from the villa. The only downside to the villa is the lack of air conditioning which in the week we were there was quite uncomfortably hot in the day and at night. There are fans available but don’t work that well so the only way we kept slightly cooled was to have cold showers and keep on swimming … also a better selection of glassware in the kitchen! Don’t be put off though it is an excellent villa to stay in .. "
