“Couldn’t have had a better stay in Panajachel. This B&B was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped me set up tours and transfers before I even arrived onsite. I stayed in the Quetzal Yurt. It was spacious and clean. This yurt has the best views by far. There are two large patios on two different levels. WiFi was fast. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and there were many choices in addition to the standard breakfast which is included. We had dinner at Al Jouri restaurant……

“The property is in a right place. It has a beautiful view of the volcanos and Lake Atitlan. Not totally impress with rooms not having small refrigerators, Iron no security box. Those items are important for staying comfortably. ”

“Great location, beautiful hotel grounds, nice pool with water slide, and great views of Lake Atlitan from the hotel property. Parking is free and plenty of space (there are two parking lots). Only downside is there is no fan, fridge or AC, so it can be humid and hot. ”

“Wonderful and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our time at La Perla Maya. Breakfast is sit down with several extras if you want additional from what’s offered with el desayuno tipico or el desayuno americano. ”

“Well this place is OLD unkept, and over price for the quality. Staff was very professional. Doors broken, locks not working, walls crack and chipped very bad. Furniture were stained and due to city pest control spray that day there was so many bags all over the room. Which they had time to clean since we arrived at 6:00 pm and pest control was before noon ”

“Based on previous reviews I was quite skeptical. Having my own experience at the Grand Hotel has made me realize I cannot make my decisions based on reviews. My hotel stay here was great! The staff: friendly, helpful and kind. The rooms: comfortable, quiet with VERY HOT WATER! I needed help connecting to wifi, done! I needed toiletries: provided. The breakfast that’s included in the very good price: delicious and good portion. The outdoor space: green and pleasant to walk around in. Is it high……

“The location is fantastic with great lake and volcano views and a short walk to the Main Street. The hotel however is v average. The rooms are v dated, the bathroom smelt of drains and overall it’s noisy. Average at best. ”

“太嘈吵，因周圍住宅及多電單車出入，居民深夜街頭談話，遠離市居及超市，但價錢合理包早餐，不能要求太多。入住安全為首要原因。因太嘈吵要求換房，職員亦落意安排比較清靜一間，能在這渡過美好回憶。”

“Definitivamente es barato, pero no porque sea barato debe ser asi. No es nada en contra del señor David o su familia. Si son amables, pero llegue a las 2, incluso acorde la llegada y aun asi llegue y el lugar no estaba listo, entras por callejones que no se ven muy seguros, no esta bien señalizado el lugar, además de que no hay regadera, es bañarse a jicara con agua fria. No tuvieron la habitación lista hasta casi las 4 pm. La habitación es muy rústica, techo de lamina, huecos por donde se meten……
