“The Villa Montarioso is a fantastic stay. The staff was delightful, the breakfast was amazing. It is a little out-of-the-way, but the S7 bus stop is a few steps away and the taxi is only about 15 Euros to get into the tourist area.”

“The hotel is located in a vineyard with astonishing view. Food is great. My friend and I sit outside and were able to enjoy the food with fantastic view in the sunset. You will be able to see San Gimignano from here. However, the staff in the reception are not very friendly. The shower is so weak that I can barely enjoy my shower.”

“The hotel does have covered parking. It's located next to the hotel, and is limited in that they only have 17 spaces; plus it's an additional 15 euros per day and a city tax to utilize the parking. Parking is in the Volterra's limited traffic zone (ZTL). Contact the hotel if you desire parking, be sure to give them your car plate number so you don't get fined driving into the restricted zone. The rooms were clean but modest. The floors in the hallways and rooms are tile and you do get noise……
