"We asked for a refund because the air con was not working and we were not informed on check in. This was the case for the entire hotel ! They brought us fans but it was still stuffy and too hot to stay in. They wanted to keep half of our payment as we had already ‘used’ the room for 3 hours but we literally left our bags in the room and went out for a meal and came back to realise this problem. "It was the coldest days when I stayed. No hot water for 4 days out of 9 even after complaining! What can you expect for paying such amount? Only one good point is the location is convenient. Breakfast ok. Don't expect too much! They stole my credit card details & used my signature. After confronting with them, they denied and said they didn't have my CC details and thought I was a fool! Staff are not friendly & didn't even say hello."

"Mingdu Hotel in Kumming, China did not fulfill the advertised free shuttle pick up from the airport. Their contention was that it was an advertisement by a third party, i.e. Hotel.com was not authorized to offer free airport shuttle in its offer. After settling this issue verbally at check out, Hotel Mingdu informed that we had left without paying for the free airport pick up as advertised."
