Top host! Very responsive. Accurate listing. Everything was as described. Backyard is gorgeous: tropical, private, with both shaded and sunny areas and a great pool. My family had a lovely time. The screened porch was a favourite place for me to enjoy early mornings listening to birds, watching hummingbirds and the sun come up. Proximity to the beach is an easy 10 minute walk, right by the river where you can see the monkeys, macaws, turtles, herons, egrets and iguanas. The unit was spotless when we arrived. The lockbox is easy to use and understand. We arrived in the dark, so, I even found the details such as a motion sensor light at the front door extremely helpful. Little touches such as labelled canisters of basic pantry items made our stay like home, where everything is easy to find. The Wi-Fi was great and I was able to work teaching live stream classes. I recommend bringing your pool floaties. You won’t need to bring much because it’s a hot country so bathing suits and shorts and flip-flops are pretty much everything you need. We were able to come and stay for a month with only a carry-on luggage! There are bath and beach towels and all linens at the house for you to use. I can’t thank our hosts enough for renting to us their lovely costa rican hideaway, inside a very safe community. We loved the little store, outdoor restaurant on the beach, and every person we met was friendly to us. We rented a golf cart and toured the neighbourhood as a family.
