“As a tourism hotel I would expect that the staff speak some English.. however there was only ONE person who works here that speaks English, and she was almost never around. There was a lot of confusion and misinformation due to lack of communication. I understand I’m in a non English speaking country but at a hotel in this scale it’s not acceptable that NO ONE speaks English. It’s not really worth the price seeing how disorganized everything is there. One of the staff members made me cry because……

“Comidas congeladas, é caro, para isso esperamos peixes fresco. O bolinho de cupim, parece um tolete com pirão de cupim dentro, hamburgueresturricado, lasca de bacon imensa, um dedo a largura da fatia do bacon, não dá nem pra comer, canja do frango seco, sem gosto; Precisam fazer manutenção nos chuveiros, não tem água direito para tomar banho, limpar os furos dos chuveiros.”

“Fomos bem recebidos, time bem atencioso.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Carmel Cumbuco Resort and would highly recommend it. The resort itself is beautiful, with spacious and well-appointed rooms — the only minor suggestion we would make is to add a chair to the room, which would make it even more comfortable. The real highlight of our stay, however, was the exceptional service from the staff. Carol and Joaquim in the café and restaurant were warm, attentive and a pleasure to interact with throughout our stay. Special mention must go to……
