weather dealt a cruel hand

Sadly, the weather was unseasonably cool and wet, which was most unexpected, so we were unable to use the house as we had planned. As the house is very much geared up to be a summer rental, it does not suit for poor weather, being a little cold and dark ... so it was with regret that we left after only one day.

Parada de sil

Ancienne maison avec de belles pierres (juste un peu sombre), dans un cadre plus qu au calme avec une vue imprenable sur le rio depuis la piscine ! Route tres sinueuse car en montagne mais a 10 min du centre ville de parada de sil avec de tres bon restos ! 1h d'ourense qui est une ville tres agreable où vous pouvez tout trouver! Sinon maison tres fonconnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut dedans! Si vous aimez le calme, vous serez servis, super agreable surtout quand on habite Paris... Je vous conseille vivement cette maison ! Yann

Unas vacaciones estupendas!!

Segundo verano que pasamos en esta maravillosa casa y entorno, tuvimos un pequeño problema con la piscina, pero Rosa, la propietaria, muy atenta en todo momento, lo solventó inmediatamente. Seguro que repetiremos otro año.

Entorno espectacular

La casa tiene todas las comodidades en un entorno privilegiado. Todo muy limpio al llegar y no le falta detalle. Eso sí, está asilada. A 11 minutos del pueblo más cercano por carretera de curvas.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe in erstklassiger Lage mit maximalem Luxus. Die Betreung vor Ort war perfekt es hat an nichts gefehlt.

A wonderful place to get away from it all

We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely villa (myself, husband and two teenage boys).We were absolutely bowled over by the scenery in the Sil River Canyon and the house is very well positioned to explore the area - and there is a view of the canyon from the end of the garden. The house was comfortable and well equipped and the pool was an added bonus in the heat. This is a very unspoilt and quiet area so you wake up to the sound of cattle bells in the morning and not much else - pretty idyllic if that’s what you’re after. The house is at the end of a track and while there is one other house nearby and some outbuildings, it feels very undisturbed. We used the outdoor kitchen and barbecue most evenings which was great. The roads are fairly hair-raising in places so be prepared for some white-knuckle but spectacular drives. We would thoroughly recommend Rosa’s villa to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Ribeira Sacra.

Hola mi comentario es el siguiente : La semana de vacaciones tuvimos un tiempo fenomenal, la piscina ídem de lo mismo y la casa muy bonita, pero me gustaría añadir que el suelo de la planta superior es de madera y causa ruido a la planta baja, ya que hay una habitación y por la noche es muy molesto, me gustaría también comentar,que me hubiese gustado mucho haber sido recibido por los propietarios para la entrega de llaves, y no fue posible, durante toda la semana no dieron señal alguna, y no es muy grato ser recibidos por desconocidos,nos perdimos varias veces el GPS no localizaba la ubicación de la casa ya que tiene dificultades para encontrar el alojamiento, por lo demás muy bien, tranquila y limpia. Un saludo.

wunderbare Tage verlebt....vielen Dank!

Wir verlebten wunderschöne Urlaubstage auf San Andres. Die Lage ist einmalig, viel Natur, tolle Wanderwege, eine herrliche Aussicht in's Tal. Das restaurierte Landhaus hat eine ganz besondere Ausstrahlung und bietet allen Komfort, den man sich wünscht. Vor allem die Küche ist klasse, komplett ausgestattet und super behaglich. Wir haben aber auch viel in der Sommerküche im Hof gekocht und gegrillt. Ein Traum ist der Garten mit dem superschönen Pool. Es gibt genügend Platz zum Sonnen, alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben Galicien für uns entdeckt und werden sicher wieder an diesen herrlichen Ort zurückkehren.

Entspannter Urlaub in Galizien

Galicien ist eine Reise wert, besonders, wenn man so eine tolle Unterkunft hat wie wir. Das alte Landhaus wurde wunderschön restauriert, wir haben uns sofort heimisch gefühlt. Die Kinder (und auch die Erwachsenen ;-)) waren gar nicht mehr vom Schwimmbad wegzukriegen. Zusammen mit dem Garten, dem Hof und der Terrasse entsteht viel Freiraum für einen unbeschwerten Urlaub. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir eigentlich immer auf der Terasse eingenommen, das Weinlaub spendete wunderbar Schatten. Die Wegbeschreibung und die Organisation waren super, das Haus, der Garten und der Pool waren sehr gepflegt und sauber. Sehr zu empfehlen, vielen Dank!

Ruim vakantiehuis met schitterend uitzicht en goed onderhouden tuin en zwembad.

Prima routebeschrijving en geschreven aanwijzingen voor in en om het huis. Woning was helaas niet goed schoongemaakt. Fietsen aanwezig,pomp ontbrak. Contactpersoon ter plaatse spreekt alleen Spaans. Prachtige omgeving. Tip: Op weg ernaar toe boodschappen doen bij Carrefour in Ourense. Guido en Ingrid
