「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」

「A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). 「We have just returned from here and oh my god it is absolutely perfect! It’s the loveliest building and the rooms are sooooo nice and spacious! We were looking for somewhere dog friendly as we have 3 and it was literally perfect! We are in love with it and can’t wait to stay again! The staff were also so so nice and lovely! Gave loads of attention to the dogs and just really pleasant (maybe in future a real lovely add on would be a dog menu with them being dog friendly but it absolutely didn’t...
