"A Charming French Farmhouse with Potential Set in a beautiful, peaceful, village, this working farm has all the makings of a French dream. The accommodation seemed more of a homestay than a hotel. Our bedroom was clean, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. The communal breakfast was a highlight, with tea and coffee, a choice of cereals, homemade mini pancakes, fresh bread and delicious homemade jams. Despite this, we felt that our accommodation felt dated rather than quaint. The bathroom would benefit from refreshing/updating and the mismatched old style bedding on the two double beds felt tired and overlooked. More attention to detail would make a real difference and make this nice property really wonderful. One thing to note, they do not take card payments. The property has wonderful character and enormous potential. With some sympathetic updating while retaining its rustic charm, it could be a truly special place to stay. Overall, an enjoyable homestay with a warm welcome, a lovely setting and plenty of room for improvement."

"The breakfast was outstanding, right down to the cloth napkins. Great choice of breads, cheeses, and more conventional breakfast items. There were smoked salmon and specialty meats. There were machines for expressos, and custom prepared coffees. I just wish I had a bigger appetite in the morning! The bed was fantastic: firm but with a soft padding. The staff was professional and took an interest in the customer experience. Nicolas helped me when I checked in. I had a problem with my room. I went back downstairs. And told Nicolas; he immediately offered to switch my room to an identical one above the current one. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that his concern was with my comfort and satisfaction. Also the hostess in the breakfast room was great. She listened to me and made the exact coffee I wanted. And she remembered the next two days without being reminded. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name."

"It was relaxing to have a very big bed after a long day of travelling. The shower was easy to access & easy to use after we had worked out what to do with the shower gel, you squeeze it. Couldn't comment on meals, we didn't partake of any."

"Great place with 7 rooms, some are of course nicer set up than others. The pool is lovely and heated. Some downsides like very limited towels and the hosts could be a little more relaxed about their attitude towards vacationers using the house and the tours. They no longer do chef at the house, but the dinner we got delivered was very nice and lots of food. Very close to lots of cute little champagne houses. They could also probably rehabilitate some of the rooms like the dining room to their former glory because right now it's not very pretty."
