## Emplacement
Montrouge is located in the department of Hauts-de-Seine, in the Metropolis of Greater Paris. The city, the fifth densest in France, takes place near Malakoff, Antony, Bagneux or Châtillon. Close to the capital, it is also served by line 4 of the Paris metro. Long a small village with a small population, Montrouge developed during the 12th century with the arrival of guillemites monks who remained until the end of the 17th century.
