“This property's huge upsides are its location, its south-facing brightness, its QUIET setting amidst the Marais hubbub, and the enormous size relative to most rentals/hotels in Paris. So much room! Minor offsets are the small, dark kitchen, the limited closet space, and the four flights of stairs that can seem increasingly daunting after days spent sightseeing. “Excellent stay! We stayed in the Monet room and it was exactly as pictured. Bonus - the windows are soundproofed. With the windows closed, you barely hear the outside, even on a festive Friday night. Restaurant downstairs has the most kind staff and reliably great food. Be thoughtful about the general neighborhood if you have mobility issues as the steps and hills and cobblestone streets are very charming and very real 😂. We met the hotel staff at check in and not again during the week,……

“Great location for exploring Marais and Paris. Lots of good eating options close by. Easy walk to Metro though the ticket machine in that area wasn’t working but that is a metro problem not an apartment problem. Just had to walk to Hotel de ville to find a working machine. This won’t be a problem if you already have a metro card and can reload from your phone. And hopefully the metro people will have fixed the machine at Pont Marie. Host was great to communicate with”

“The apartment is in an older building. But once inside it is very comfortable. The bathrooms and toilets are amazing. Two out of the three rooms are great. Well insulated from any noise. The bedroom which shares the common wall with the next apartment has very thin walls so you can hear a lot from next door. Bedding was comfortable though a couple of pillows were a bit lumpy. Air conditioning was great and the space was overall very comfortable. I had to call them about leaving my bags before……

The location is great, very close to the CDG shuttle, and there's a Monoprix right outside the entrance where you can buy food (but be aware it might close after 9 PM). Next door is the airport bus stop, with many buses going directly to the nearby Aeroville mall (which has a great supermarket). The room was a standard IBIS hotel, perfectly adequate. The highlight was the many wonderful lounge areas downstairs near the lobby, and the cafe next door even had a free microwave, perfect for reheating refrigerated lunch boxes bought at the airport. Oh, and there's also the Iwall virtual interactive game on the first floor, which was fun to watch many children playing. These are two key points that give IBIS a perfect score. Also, I'd like to add a point that other travelers might be interested in: luggage storage costs 12 euros per day. I didn't leave my luggage there.
One drawback is that the hairdryer in the bathroom is difficult to use. Although the air is hot enough, the handle becomes extremely hot and cannot be used.
