This property delivered as a home base for my teenager and I in a lovely out of the way (in a good way) neighborhood. The updated apartment was as described and in perfect proximity to a grocery store, bakeries, bistros and even shopping. A metro stop providing easy access to the rest of the city is just half a block away. There are also two lovely parks nearby with benches for sitting within naturally...

「PROS: Easy check-in and out, using key lock box. Very close to metro and centre of Paris. Modern throughout and enough space for 4 people. Set back from the street so no noise. CONS: Scuffs and general wear and tear could be improved (exposed wires by tv and shelf was loose) NO air conditioning (small fans given but be aware, if travelling in summer, like we did!!). Area in evening slightly strange/next door to kebab shop…Overall nice, would stay again.」

The apartment was run down, with sparse and in some cases broken furniture, making it feel neglected and poorly maintained. Several basic amenities were not functioning—most notably, the bathroom sink was clogged, light fixtures didn’t work, and the internet was completely down.
