Stayed 3 nights gor family trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was in 1 minute walk from metro which brought you to tourist areas. It was unfortunate timing that we chose to stay as the hotel was going through renovations, which was a slight inconvenience.

Don’t book here the rooms don’t look like the pictures there was black mould on the ceiling and all over the bathroom there was infest of ants unplugged sockets hanging out of their holes the flooring was lifted and come away. There was mould grown on the walls as well.

Family reunion

We had very bad surprises at arrival: no air conditioning when it was 40C/103F and under major renovation! We book the rooms in April and didn’t get any notice of this! My parents in law, in their eighties, nearly suffered a heat stroke! The renovation work was just above our rooms, from early morning, even during the weekend! They offered us to cancel the booking and to ask Hotels.com for a refund but how do you find 2 rooms in Paris city centre last minute at a decent price and how to be sure we would get our money back?! They gave us fans that were so dirty that they blew dust! The staff was trying their best to be helpful but clearly were overwhelmed by the situation. The management knew about the situation as they are closing the hotel from July 15th 25. They should have let us know in advance or offer another solution or at least give us a partial refund. Clearly this management doesn’t care about their clients or reputation. So they should not be in the tourism industry. As a French leaving in Canada, I’m ashamed by this type of attitude!

Purtroppo quando siamo arrivati abbiamo scoperto che c’erano dei lavori di ristrutturazione in corso e quindi non funzionava l’aria condizionata. Ci hanno detto che avremmo potuto disdire senza nessuna penale: ma alle 16.00 del giorno di arrivo voleva dire perdere intera giornata. Siamo quindi rimasti, ci hanno dato un ventilatore e per scusarsi ci hanno offerto le colazioni (3) per tutti e 5 i giorni. Sono stati quindi gentili. Penso però che sarebbe stato più corretto avvisarci prima della partenza dall’Italia: in quel caso avremmo sì potuto cercare un altro allloggio. Per il resto la camera era comoda: aveva 2 bagni, uno con wc e lavamani, l’altro con doccia e doppio lavandino. Un po’ buia forse. Aggiungerei una presa dal comodino. La posizione un po’ distante dal centro ma vicinissima alla metropolitana.

Service minimum

Certes la période était particulière : canicule à Paris mais plutôt que de dire comme ça était le cas pour moi même et la personne qui me précédait « on n’a pas dit que c’est climatisé » il faut noter explicitement « pas de climatisation ». Pour un hôtel 3* c’est limite quand même. Ensuite pas de douche mais un bain au milieu du coin SDB… bon… Et pour couronner le tout, pas de café disponible malgré la présence d’une machine. Je voyage plusieurs fois par mois dans des hôtels 3 ou 4* et c’était ma pire expérience depuis pas mal d’années. J’y retournerai pas.

À l’arrivée : pas de clim… justifiée par un changement de proprio et le vendeur ne l’avait oas réparée !! Super par un jour de pic canicule st la France … de plus une affiche travaux en cours désolé pour le désagrément!! C’est le comble … Résultat: pas fermé l’œil de la nuit environ 30 degrés dans la 208 …

They had no AC and did not let me know beforehand, note the temperatures were over 35 degrees. They had wood and cement works in the hotel and reception area, which means it was covered in dust and particles and protective plastic.They had given me a small fan and I have felt ill from the heat. The room did not have working lights (3 out of 4 lights non functional) and the table leg was hanging onto one slinky nail. They refused to do room service and requested i give the fan back as they dont have it in the reception for the work.

You said it would have AC. It did not. The AC machine was fixed at 30 degrees although I was told it was broken. There was a hooker on the floor below and a very noisy couple in the room next door. No lift.
