Summary:

Welcome to our hidden private courtyard at the foot of the Butte Montmartre.



Upstairs of a charming renovated house with tree-lined courtyard, top-of-the-range furnished apartment bright and refurbished by a renowned architect. With a surface area of 37 m² it's perfect for a solo or duo stay. It includes a cathedral living room with open fitted kitchen (hob, microwave), a separate toilet, a beautiful sleeping area and a shower room.

There is also a TV, a dining table and storage units.

- Crib kit (crib + mattress + fitted sheets) is available upon request for 20€ per entire stay.

The lovely studio, in the heart of Montmartre, is close to all shops, restaurants, bars, delicious bakeries local markets and supermarkets.

It is very pleasant to stroll through the alleys of this historic and still alive Paris.The neighborhood is safe and the place is very quiet thanks of its location into a private courtyard.

A little smokey

The property itself is well located in the Montmartre for our purposes, with good access in all directions of Montmartre historical sites and interesting markets (Puch Marche), and easy walking distance to good bakeries, grocery stores, laundrymat and restaurants. We had a little difficulty with sticking entry locks on the first day which was very frustrating, but the local Host very quickly sent a capable agent to resolve the problem, and we really appreciated that. The apartment is listed as non-smoking, but there are four apartments all clustered together, and it appears everyone in the other apartments smoked, and I mean constantly, using the small common courtyard as a gathering and smoking area. As the apartment we stayed in is elevated by one level, and the only ventilation is opening the windows to the courtyard, we really didn't enjoy the time when we returned to the apartment because of the constant smoke. We understand this is Paris, so we didn't complain or made an issue, but I would hesitate renting that apartment again for that reason alone.

Bait & switch! Expedia posted a photo of a beautiful, charming street lined with cottages in the Montmartre district, leading one to believe that this was the actual property where you would be staying. That was not the case! The property was a standard apartment in a standard apartment building on a littered, graffiti-vandalized street. The apartment itself reeked of body odor as soon as I walked in the door. The furniture - including the bed and sofa - smelled of body odor. The pillows also reeked of body odor, and were filthy dirty and stained. The mattress cover was also stained as well as the sheets and towels. I refused to sleep on the pillows, and had no pillows to sleep on for 4 nights. The property management refused to deliver new pillows until they inspected the dirty pillows! They delivered the new pillows on the fifth day of my stay. New sheets and towels were delivered on the second day of my stay and were also stained. I DO NOT recommend this property to anyone!!!

In the heart of Montmatre, quiet property only meters from a variety of shops. 5 mins walk from nearest metro station. Property manager was most helpful with my queries. Would recommend for a short stay.

Nice Placee

Very clean and nice place perfect for 2 people. The only inconvenience is a little far from places we want to go but we adjust with public transport what is very near from the property.
