Loft stairs

The lift - which only takes 1 adult + small suitcase - only goes to 6th floor. The studio is on the 7th. The stairs for the last floor are dangerously steep and should come with a warning. I specifically asked about these and was told they were 'short'. As the stairs were so dangerous, on departure, I asked if the man who had let me in (or someone else) could help carry my suitcase down this one flight of stairs - he said he would but for 30 euros. 30 euros to take one small suitcase down one flight of stairs is ridiculous. He did reduce it to 16 euros but I still declined this 'mugging'. However the studio itself was very good - but with the caveat of the stairs.
