This place seemed like a scam because they asked us to pay through a bank transfer... and then they asked for a 500 dollar deposit after they already had our money via bank transfer. We contacted vrbo to see if this was legit and they said it was so we went through with it but honestly I was worried we would get there and not have a place to stay. I still need to check if they returned my deposit...The place is a bit run down, a chair at the table fell apart while I was sitting in it. The neighborhood is loud and crowded with late night antics, which can be fun but also its every night so it gets tiring. There is no place for you to put your luggage... for a short stay/small suitcase it wouldn't be an issue. They should get some luggage racks.Also there is no full length mirror. They need to put a full length mirror in... if you are traveling in Paris you want to see your outfit before you walk out the door.The bathroom is a bit moldy in the shower and the sinks in the bathroom don't drain correctly which can get kind of gross. Other than that, the apartment worked for our needs with a small dog. Kitchen was stocked, washer dryer combo worked, it was clean, the courtyard was cute, the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood had lots of fun restaurants and bakeries and it is close to the Gare Est train which was very convenient for our purposes (doing a day trip to Strasbourg for the xmas market).
