The neighborhood is wonderful and the unit owner and rental company person were great, but, when I woke up the first day I saw the coffee maker was FULL of mold and the Nespresso machine didn't work because it needed to be cleaned. The nice woman from the rental co came over and cleaned it. The oven was so filthy I didn't want to use it and the rug in the living area is not as pictured, it is a paper thin piece of gold material that was so filthy I couldn't get it clean. They had exactly one knife, one coffee cup and one kitchen towel so I went to Ikea and bought a rug, coffee cups, silverware and towels. The kitchen shelf had a bottle of olive oil spilled in it and it had hardened. The owner offered to have someone clean the apartment but I was working from there and couldn't have someone cleaning while I was in Zoom meetings. She did have my laundry sent out because the washing machine died a little over a week into my stay. The owner and the woman from the rental co were very responsive but all of these issues could have been avoided if she had a reliable cleaning person who did a good job. I spent one day cleaning the apartment and it wasn't enough. I left early.
