Great location but on the 5th floor

Location is great and the place was clean, but the small studio was on the 5th floor. We had 2 large suitcases and a few smaller bags... It was a challenge to climb the 98 stairs.

This property is in the midst of restoration work..no floor in lobby. Dark, dingy, rickety stairs and lots of them to climb before showing up in apartment that hasn’t been cleaned. Horrible communication with BAM Paris who is suppose to be manager. Left when realized that place would not be cleaned before 6pm and that dishwasher and washer would be running and we would have to empty when we finally received the place. Noticed while trying to reach Expedia that 5/19 review said basically the same thing. You should not be affiliated with this managing company.

There was no water upon arrival and note on front door said no water on Monday during our stay as well. Dirty dishes and food in kitchen, garbage, and on floor. Soiled towels on floor and stains in bathroom facilities. Bed was not changed and there was food on the floor. After walking up several flights of stairs to seventh floor with luggage, it was disappointing. Called and messaged but no reply for several hours, even more disappointment. When replied, we were misinformed.

Disappointing stay

Overall, this was a disappointing stay. The entrance to the building was under construction with unstable plywood on the ground and very dark. The listing didn’t say what floor the unit was on so I didn’t know it was on the fifth floor until we checked in the day before. There was no elevator and the stairs in the stairwell were very uneven. If I had known all this I would have booked elsewhere. We were sweating when we got into the unit and went to plug in the standing fan, but the electrical cord was cut. There was only one hand towel and the two bath towels folded at the end of the bed were still wet so we had to hang dry them for later. We called the property manager asking for more towels and never got a response. There also wasn’t a bath mat and the shower doors had a crack at the bottom so the bathroom floor would flood when we showered. In general, the unit did not feel very clean. There were hairs from the people before us all over the bathroom and the floors felt dirty. The listing also said the unit was 1.5 bath but it was only 1.
