Nestled slopeside, Silver Star 40 offers pristine luxury with effortless ski-in/ski-out access to Park City Mountain Resort—only 8 minutes from Main Street. This elegant 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom cottage accommodates 10 guests and boasts year-round amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, on-site fitness center, and proximity to Spiro Trailhead. Enjoy grilling on the patio, soaking in the private hot tub, or relaxing by the firepit after a day of adventure.

In the heart of this 3-story cottage, expansive windows bathe the second floor in natural light, casting a glow on dark wood finishes and vaulted ceilings. Outside, the main-level patio boasts a BBQ grill, hot tub, and firepit for entertaining. Enjoy the 110” projection screen and Xbox in the theater room, offering comfortable recliners and bean bag chairs.

Enjoy on-site parking for 4 vehicles and complimentary shuttle service at Silver Star 40. For ski-in/ski-out access, walk to Silver Star Court and follow the paved path to the funicular, which leads to the lift and ticket office. Amazing property for a large group ski trip.

This is the kind of place where the experience is better than the pictures suggest and the pictures are beautiful. It’s a bit far to walk downtown Park City but the shuttle service provided makes up for that in spades. I would stay at this exact location again in a heart beat.

Disruptions

I was pretty disappointed in the amount of disruptions during my stay and more so in the lack of notice given to us for these. I was notified less than 24 hrs ahead of time that the driveways were being sealed and were not allowed to be driven on. As we were staying at the property at the very top of the hill and extremely inconvenient, I am confused as to why this a) was not told to me earlier than 24 hrs before my arrival or b) scheduled for a time when there werent guests. I also received I text about some type of technology fix that was being requested to be done during our stay (Wednesday) when we were leaving in less than 24 hrs. I know I could have declined, but there was no complaint on my end so confused as to why that had to be done during our stay and again, was given about 30 mins notice for that request- not very professional. Also- the back door would not lock and the electric curtains at the back door leading to the patio would not close. I had also closed all curtains in my master bedroom prior to leaving for the day on Wednesday and when I came back (after the "technology" fix was completed) my wooden slats in the middle window were open. Overall did not feel very secure here and would not use Silver Star/Nautral Retreats again.

Beautiful property!

This property was beautiful & perfect for our group. We had a girls weekend & it was great. The Silver Star Ski lift isn’t open otherwise that would’ve been great for a ski in / ski out. The complimentary shuttle is worth its weight in gold!! We had no idea that was part of our package.

Perfect Place

We celebrated my wife's 35th birthday here and it was fantastic. House was immaculate and also beautifully designed. It is tucked against the mountain so we saw plenty of wildlife like deer and bunnies, but perfectly centralized to mountain activities and restaurants. The community pool was very nice and never busy, but honestly enjoying the scenery of the backyard while relaxing in the private hot tub was probably my favorite activity. The hosting company Natural Retreats was very helpful and professional. All around great experience. Thank you!

Helpful tips

Daily housekeeping was falsely advertised. Be advised they come anytime between 8-5 and it was usually closer to 5 when we would all be trying to get ready for dinner... which was an inconvenience more than a help. Also be sure to ask for extra toilet paper and shampoo... they didn’t always leave without our request. Communication with rental company was hit or miss when we needed something. The house is great... but no Icemaker so bring ice.
