「Really surprised by this place. Really hidden away. The room was lovely and clean and nicely decorated, very modern. Only downfall was the chargeable parking, shame but not the end of the world as it was £5 for 24 hours…just didn’t expect it. Would definitely stay here again 」

「I love this little gem of a pub and have been staying here for at least the past 15 years whenever I am in the area for regular work. Andy and Adele make a great team with delicious food, a good variety of beers, wines, cocktails etc and a lovely fire to keep us all cosy and warm, oh and the fish pie was really delicious! 😋」

「A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.」

「Plenty of safe parking onsite. Didn't have breakfast, but had fish n chips for supper and it was really tasty. Room and pub was well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area.」

「Lovely vibe, staff are great and friendly, happy to chat with guests. The gentleman who changed are room was very helpful as we requested to move to the other side of the hotel, away from the road (light sleepers) and they were happy to help. Would recommend to anyone, great place to stay and fantastic location for walking, cycling etc」
