The property is huge. The common areas are much bigger than the pictures make it look. There are a large number of common area seating places, nooks, dining places, grills and so on. The pool is great. The owner lives downstairs. The bedrooms are compact but nice. The bathrooms are nice and functional. The kitchen is functional. It is walking distance to town.Overall, it's a great value.

Fantastic accommodation for group

Absolutely loved this property. So much space and great outdoor pool and seating areas. You do need a car or scooter but walk is still doable. Property is kept spotless while you stay. We all loved it!!

Would stay again

We had an amazing time at Villa Callista. The location is ideal, only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and amenities of Parikia. The Villas Away team were so helpful and accommodating, even looking after my in laws who arrived too early to check in. The owner of the villa was also so helpful. When my daughter had a high temperature she recommended where to take her and checked in with us later. The villa itself was the perfect size for us, 6 adults and 3 children. Maria who came to clean every day was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. 100% recommend

Great house

We were potentially the first one for this season so the musty smell was a bit present in the drawers. The pool is not heated so it was very fresh for the first week of may.

Paros / Parikia

Great villa

We had a great time at Villa Callista - the pool & outdoor area were brilliant and definitely a well stocked kitchen as well. We had 11 people and had more than enough room. The daily cleaning was great & there is aircon in all the bedrooms. The walk into town is about 15 minutes downhill. A member of the landlords family lives on the first floor (separate entrance) but is very connected with the landlord.

Very nice villa

A very quiet area. Very big villa with a lot of spaces and terraces . The garden around the pool, with synthetic grass, is full of smelly flowers and a big lemon tree. A cleaning lady comes everyday to clean and to do beds like in a hôtel. 3 beautiful room, 1 more classic and 1 in an outbuilding of the house. We highly recommend this villa.

Hospitality at its FINEST!

Nikkos should give lessons for other vrbo host on what hospitality is about. He provided us with ample information about Paros, recommended places to visit, eat and helped prepare for my vow renewal. We hosted 19 people at the villa for dinner which was catered an amazing chef and his team! The menu consisted of a grilled octopus ( made to perfection), shrimp on skewers with AMAZING dipping sauce, avocado zucchini salad (DELICIOUS), grilled croaker, and other amazing dishes. I can not say enough of this experience that was remarkable due to Nikkos's investment in being an amazing g host. I recommend anyone looking to visit Paros to book their stay at Villa Callista, you will not be disappointed! Euridiss

A very helpful ower

We suggest to install a AC system in the living aera, as it was so hot then we actually couldn't relax more than one hour there. We were a little bit desappointed by the quality of the furniture and of the kitchen equipment compared to the pictures on the web site. A part of this, the owner was very helpful. The view was fantastic. We would come back if they install an AC.

Stay in August 2020

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Callista in Parikia, Paros. Villas Away were extremely helpful and efficient and the villa itself was lovely - as was the owner/host - Nikos. The villa is beautifully decorated and has a fantastic outside space, with large pool and ample seating - with lots of shady places to sit and a large table that easily accommodates 12 people. There is a cleaner every day which some might think intrusive however she was wonderful. She was very discreet and was there to clean up, make beds, change towels etc. It was a real bonus. The villa is about 20/25 minutes walk from the main town. It's a pretty easy walk apart from the fact that the first 10 minutes is via a stony track making it potentially difficult for those with less mobility. We, however, walked it most nights and it was absolutely fine. The town itself is lovely - very pretty cobbled streets in the Old Town with a lovely waterfront, with lots of restaurants and bars. It is lively and cosmopolitan without being too loud. The bus service to other parts of the island is very good - we used it to go Nauossa and the bus was on time both ways and very cheap. There are lots of lovely beaches but our favourite was Marchello beach (about 10 minutes drive from villa). Very clean, lovely golden sand, great beach bar. But get there quite early to get a subbed - about 20 euros per day for 2 (with a shade).

Perfect with a little more additions

Loved the property, if you are a large group there is ample space for it not to feel crowded. Its located in a quiet area and well maintained. Only thing missing are the little things which are easily fixed (and should be there given the cost) i.e no pantry items (salt, oil, foil etc), a small welcome pack (wine, olive oil, some local delights) and more serving/eating bowls/platters/plates as there really isnt enough for 12 people. Minor amends that would make this place feel even more special than it is. Overall however, highly recommend a stay.

Quintessential Greek Island Stay

Amazing property. The pictures don’t do it justice. The home has a sleek open contemporary feel married with the original sections of the home. The kitchen has the tools needed to cook a great meal including a great firewood oven for grilling fresh fish. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to town, and when you need a car to see the island the owners have a company that will pick up and deliver the cars at the Villa.
