Stunning Private Villa Near Quepos

Spectacular ocean view villa perched in the coastal hills of central costa rica, defines tropical luxury. This contemporary 3 bedroom (+ sofa bed) estate rests above 60 acres of private rainforest, with stunning unobstructed views to the mountains and the pacific coast. Within a completely private setting, this is a nature lovers paradise, conveniently located just minutes to the best attractions resident to the Manuel Antonio region of Costa Rica. The villa features an infinity pool, modern kitchen, grill and spacious outdoor patio surrounding the indoor living area. The villa features glass walls both on lower and upper levels, with 360 degree views that photographs cannot do justice. Trails have been built throughout the property that lead through the rainforest where guests can dip in the rivers and pools and admire the waterfalls on the property. (Note: because many residential properties in Central Pacific, CR do not have actual addresses, the map location is estimated. The property is only 1.5km from Rainmaker Preserve, between Parrita and Quepos.)

Hilltop vacation

This property is beautiful and the views are amazing. The road leading in is a bit rough. We were told it was being paved soon. You will need a 4x4 to reach the house especially if it is raining. We had a great time and saw squirrel monkeys and toucans at the house. The pool was great after long hikes. Kenny the manager was extremely helpful. Book with confidence if your looking for a quite beautiful get away.

Stunning

Amazing property. Tucked away up on a mountain, this was exactly what we were hoping for. The architecture, grounds and views were stunning. We spent 2 days hanging out at the property walking the trails, the road, and watching clouds roll in. The trails are moderate and take you down to a river with minor water falls. You are surrounded by nature and a rain forest. The road is an easier walking trek and we watched monkeys jumping across the road there. Back at the house we watched various birds (including humming birds) while cooling down at the pool.In addition to this property, we went right up the road to Rainmaker which was a hit. The trails were fairly well groomed and the bridges added excitement. We did not see any animals but the views were excellent and it was not crowded. Lastly, we took a day to explore Manuel Antonio Park. There we saw monkeys, sloths, and a lot of humans....Overall a great basecamp for my family to make lifetime memories.

Dream vacation house!

This place was absolutely spectacular. The views are absolutely stunning, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the photos just don't do them justice. The home is pleasantly secluded, and surrounded by wildlife - we saw lots of lizards, many different birds (including a toucan!) and butterflies, and some frogs on our hike on the property's trail (which was a bit slippery and steep for our 64 year old relatives - wear sturdy shoes!). Kenny, the caretaker, was unbelievable. So responsive to any question, so friendly, came by a few times to check on things but in a very unintrusive way, and had loads of recommendations about the area. He made the vacation spectacular. The home is fabulous - a little river runs through the main living area into the pool! So cool! The pool was plenty big for 5 of us to enjoy and to play with our daughter. The kitchen was well-equipped and laundry machines worked well.The bedrooms were very comfortable at night with the heat pumps. The owner was very responsive and helpful, great to work with, and had lots of local recommendations. She helped to arrange a private chef for one of the evenings which was a very enjoyable meal. The owner recommended a 4x4 vehicle to get up the driveway (1.5km) and we are glad we took her advice - the road is quite steep and would be very slippery if there had been rain!We are already thinking about a return trip to this place - it was an absolute paradise!

This property had all the amenities you would need. Although it's in the mountains it still gets very hot. There is no AC on the ground floor however, if you open all the sliding doors there's a nice cross breeze. The owner and property manager were very accommodating!! The home is stunning and very modern with stellar views of the mountains. Make sure you have a 4x4.

Great Views

Just as advertised. You definitely need 4 wheel drive after a good shower. Opening the sliding glass doors and just using the screen doors allowed for a good breeze. Views are nothing short of outstanding. Keni was very helpful. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful landscapes with view of the ocean and mountains. Loved it!

This huge house is surrounded by beautiful 360 degree landscapes. We see the mountains to the east, west and north and the plain and the Pacific Ocean to the south. The pictures don't do it justice and we were left speechless when we arrived. The pool is large, comfortable and always very clean thanks to Kenny's good care. It was hot in February and the pool was very refreshing. The house is very well equipped (soaps, aluminum foil, cellophane, grocery bags, oil, spices, etc…). There are several towels, both for the bathroom and for the swimming pool. The Wi-Fi works very well and we were able to communicate with our families via video Messenger. There is a propane BBQ, which we used almost every day. There are 8 deck chairs. The bedrooms have a balcony with a view of the ocean and the magnificent sunsets. The mattresses are very comfortable and the master bedroom has its own bathroom while the other 2 bedrooms share the second bathroom. There is also a .5 bathroom on the main floor. This property is very quiet because it is located more than a kilometre from the nearest neighbor. Better to have a 4x4 dependingmon the season. Cleaning is done once a week by a dedicated and efficient team. We observed toucans, coati, hummingbirds, iguanas, toads and other local wildlife almost every day. There is a hiking trail on the property that leads to a creek with small waterfalls. We were there in February (dry season) so I can imagine the beauty in the rainy season. The trail will not be easy for non-athletic people but accessible if you make the effort. There are bamboo sticks for hiking. You will find grocery stores with everything you want 25-30 minutes away (BM and Maxi Pali in Quepos and another Maxi Pali in Parrita). We personally enjoyed the BM in Quepos. There are also 2 convenience stores in the small village down the road (5-7 minutes). The beaches (many) are 25-40 minutes. Our favorites: Bejuco and Palo Seco for long walks and Espadilla for swimming. There is a beautiful nature reserve 8 minutes away (Rainmaker) with suspension bridge, waterfalls and natural swimming pool. Maggy, the owner was easy to reach and responded quickly. Kenny, manager in CR is great and always available (Thank you!!!).

House with fabulous views!

House with fabulous views! We have stayed in Costa Rica a number of times and this house had the best views by far! Toucans came to visit us a number of times. And on our hike to the waterfall on the property we saw a troop of squirrel monkeys! Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful views and infinity pool. We swam every day! Close proximity to both Manuel Antonio, Dominical, and zip lining up in Jaco. Caretaker, Kenny, can assist you with popular local excursions and restaurants as well as any house maintenance concerns. I would book here again for the peace and serenity this property will give you!
