I was reluctant to write a review, so let me start by saying the new dock was a welcome surprise and the matresses were very comfortable.
That being said, upon arrival, the deck, deck furniture and gas grill were dirty. Additionally, a wheel on the gas grill was broken and three of the four rubbish barrels had not been emptied. As we entered the cabin, we noticed the rugs were stained and the cabin had cobwebs. We spent the first day cleaning the cabin and deck in preparation of our son, daughter-in-law and one year old granddaughter visiting us. After cleaning the cabin, we went to use the the outdoor shower only to find it was not working. Additionally, the floor in the indoor bathroom near the tub was rotted and sagging. We invited our son and his family to join us, with the knowledge that the camp had wifi and they would be able to work remotely. The wifi was not functional and they had to work from an inn in the nearby town for four to six hours for four of the five days they were with us.
During our stay, we contacted Vacasa Property Management six times, only to be told they were addressing the concerns with local management.
As such, if a future rental is managed by Vacasa we will not rent the property, regardless of how much we are interested in it.
