“Upon arriving, there is a separate price for parking through a 3rd party app. Not disclosed on their website or Expedia. We reserved a room with a “hill view” and we got first floor looking to the parking lot. Front desk brushed it off and said they couldn’t do anything even though they still had other rooms open. 24/7 cafe was nice but the hot water dispenser had coffee flavored hot water. “It is clearly an older property. But the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, even though it is right off 101 it was quiet, the bathrooms are stocked with very nice towels, unlike what you usually find in less expensive motels. The showers were warm and had good water flow but could use an upgrade (but they were clean). I stayed for three mights while on a hunting trip and will stay there again. San Miguel is pretty much a wide spot on highway 101 just north of Paso Robles. Our……

“This Motel really exceeded our expectations. It is a super cute property and the room was adorably decorated. I loved hanging out in the hammock first thing in the morning when it was still cool outside, and by the fire pit in the evening when the temperatures dropped as well. The pool area was amazing - no shortage of very comfortable seating with access to the bar and restaurant - so nice that it is restricted to 21 and older! The morning coffee and croissants were such a nice touch! All staff……

“The hotel is beautiful and in a great location to walk to restaurants and coffee shops around the town square. The beds were very comfortable. Most staff were very helpful. The evening maintenance man Andre went above and beyond to try to get the outdoor fire pit working and then got a heat lamp running instead when the fire pit didn't come on. The check in person however was on.the phone for at least 10 minutes while several.people were waiting in line to check in without even acknowledging……

“The camper was great and very clean. Bed was comfortable too! Loved Sunset Hill and the property for a morning walk. Didn’t use the outdoor kitchen area so no comment there. Curious if there’s a curfew for the campsites. There was a group by the fire pit one night until midnight and you could hear every word from inside the camper. So we were up until they went to bed. Something to think about… The bathroom trailer was not great. Out of paper towels in most, really thin toilet paper, water……
