"Found ants in the room and I didn’t see it mentioned before I booked but rooms have no AC. Room cooled down as it cooled down outside but it was warm when we got there."

"Everything very nice with a few exceptions. The hairdryer wasn’t working, and one of the two lamps was not working. There were no convenient outlets to plug devices in. The staff was very nice and the room very pleasant."

"The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Smelled good for a pet motel. The only thing I would have loved was a downstairs room. It was tough lugging my two Frenchies upstairs. "

"Beautiful hotel. There’s just no individual air conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast was listed as 7:30-9:30 and they were completely out of food at 7:45 with no one around to restock it. There is also limited parking. It didn’t affect us but could potentially be an inconvenience for someone else. "

"This was my 3rd stay at 456 Embarcadero. The rooms are lovely, bay views from most. A little bit of a walk to shops but fine for most folks. Pets are allowed and there are many restaurants with outdoor seating, perfect if you have pets. There is a lovely park just next door which is also nice for the four-legged guests."
