Wonderful mountain cabin

A great place to stay on Palomar mountain. Roomy, comfortable, clean three-bedroom cabin with privacy, and convenient access to the state park and observatory.

Fantastic Place to Enjoy Palomar Mountain

We came here to stay since it was close to the La Jolla Mountain Bike Park. As A frame cabins go this one is clean and cozy. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and waking up to the birds and the view of the trees. Definitely would recommend this one, also plenty of room for other guests. Thanks Ephraim and Aimee!!

Kansas Drivers

This was a great stay, we always wish we had more time on the Mountain. The cool nights made having a fire in the wood stove so wonderful. My son and I enjoyed splitting wood, my wife and daughters enjoyed all of the wild flowers on the mountain and the AFrame with luxurious bathrooms!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting!!

Beautiful cabin, wonderful furnishings and comfy beds. Felt very private and was the perfect place to unwind. The owners did an amazing job with the design choices and would 10/10 stay there again!!

Family Vacay

Thank you so much. We had a blessed time. Stars were beautiful at night. Also visited observatory, La Jolla Indian campground, lookout point in Palomar state park. Be sure to bring food. Not many places to get food. Jilbertos Taco Shop was good but you have to come down the mtn.

Just what we needed

This Christmas was a holiday to remember. My family and I loved everything about the cabin. To make matters even better are cabin was the only one that had snow for the kids to play in even though the weather was warm. I couldn’t of asked for a better vacation thank you for hosting a perfect Christmas for my family and I.

Magical Memorial Day weekend

Thoughtfully designed property from top to bottom -- clean minimalist style but accomplished with cozy surfaces. Spacious throughout with excellent light and views of cedar and oak trees from every window. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, with birds winging by (including an impressive turkey vulture), a charming rope swing in the oak by the driveway, a fire pit, and a secret treehouse (for very little ones). All four of us loved it.
