The side road grille gate is a bit of a surprise, but very secure. Once in, on a hot day I was immediately offered a drink. The stairs are steep, but my bag was taken up to and brought down from the room. 「This is a wonderful property located in a perfect spot in Pavia. We stay in many rental properties and I can say, without question, the service at Arnabaldi Palace is as good as we have ever received. Rooms are well appointed and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We fully intend to stay here again on our next trip to Italy.」
