We had a very enjoyable second stay at this nostalgic beach house. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the screened porch, side deck, and dock. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The neighborhood was quiet, walkable, and family-friendly.The house is not a “luxury” rental but has plenty of old-fashioned southern charm. The screened porch with four rocking chairs was our favorite spot, and the large kitchen table made family meals easy. The kitchen, while small and outdated, served its purpose. The fridge/freezer was too small for a large group, so extra coolers for drinks and overflow are a must. We brought our own bikes, which was perfect for exploring.Overall, this is a nostalgic, simple beach house in an amazing location. It’s perfect for families who want to spend time together in a traditional beachfront setting and don’t mind a few quirks. I usually prefer pet-friendly rentals (and travel with my small dog), and while I’d likely explo
