  • This is just one of many spectacular views from a walk entitled "Pas Du Loup". We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers. The whole Goreg du Tarn is a special place for me because the tourist buses don't go there and it's reputedly the deepest gorge in Europe.

We had a wonderful stay. The gite, pool and grounds are beautiful - the photos do not do it justice. The house was clean and spacious. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and we were very grateful for the thoughtful welcome gifts we were greeted by. We would definitely recommend!

Space, views and relaxation

Beautiful setting with wonderful grounds and facilities. Great local market on Sunday and lovely local walks but need to drive for local shops. Great base for the Ardeche area.
