「The owner was nice but the accommodation was not clean enough and offered no privacy - with the large windows looking on to the owners house and compound where the their American Pit Bull Terrier has free range. Three nights booked but we arrived late and left early the next day.」

「Great location for people who are interested in history. There are lots of sites to visit within 40-50 minutes drive. The weather was mixed but we still managed to swim in the pool every day even though it was unheated. Good range of walks as well. 」

Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. 「We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend」

「Si vous aimez le calme tout en ayant tout à proximité, c'est l'endroit idéal. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, la maison a tout le confort nécessaire et la piscine est un grand plus.
