“We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for our get away. It was clean and had everything we needed. The owners are very responsive to any questions.”

“The property is located in a small neighborhood right by the water. While there are houses fairly close it is quiet with beautiful views. The house is clean and has good appliances/wifi for a comfortable stay. It is a one bedroom with a big bathroom and living room. The screened in patio is good to avoid the mosquitos. One note is for those with mobility issues, the shower/bathtub has a high ledge with a thicker width to get in/out.”

“The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!”

“Wonderful home, courteous home owner, excellent customer service through Evolve. The home was clean and comfortable with all of the little extras you might need when traveling or you may have forgotten. The design of the home was a great use of space and really cozy beach vibes. The porch and backyard areas were a fun surprise and my little dog did not want to leave the porch. Colonial Beach has many great restaurants and home has convenient access to beautiful river beaches and bayside……

“This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!”

“I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.”

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the living room and main bedroom we used were comfortable, and the sun porch had great views where you could relax in the AC. “This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!”

“My daughter (age 21) and myself stayed at this home for the past few days. We had such a lovely time! The house is beautiful and Diana has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. The house has a wonderful layout and a comforting vibe. Out of all the vacations we have taken, we were the saddest to leave this place lol and we are already making our next plans to come back! I loved the little goodies Diana has for sale around the house that makes it convenient and also goes to a wonderful……

“This "little" cottage had enough space for comfort and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, well stocked and inviting. This was the perfect place for a ladies getaway retreat. We could walk just about anywhere we needed to be. 3-4 blocks from the beach and a few more from a small variety of restaurants. Can't wait to visit again!”

“My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It’s the nicest place we’ve stayed in Colonial Beach. Dan, the host, was quick to answer any questions. The home is tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the little amount of cooking that we did. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The view of Monroe Bay was exceptional!! We would love to stay again with friends. The only issue might be the full size beds in the other two……

“Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.”

“We REALLY enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and the amenities were great. We had 4 teenagers and 6 adults and everyone had the space they needed to relax and have fun. The pool provided a nice place to cool off and the views of both the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. There were plenty of options for people to get out on the water on the creek side and the access on the river was just as nice.”
