This room is a handicap-friendly room, so if you have a wheelchair, are using a walker, are elderly, or are on crutches this is the perfect room for you. The doorway is 36 inches. The entryway, main floor, and path to your room are all flat and on one floor. There is one step up to enter the house and one step into the shower. If you do not have a disability, but want to have everything on the same floor, you are free to reserve this room.
Your reservation is for a private room with a queen-sized bed and shared bathroom. You also have access to the common areas and other shared spaces in the house. As part of your stay, you get disposable slippers, bathrobes, hotel-style toiletries, and a welcome snack to kick-start your stay.
For access, the entire house is keyless, so on check-in, you will be given a mini tour, codes, and access to house apps/ essentials. For getting around, the house is downtown so you can park your car and walk to most places. There is no car needed as we are downtown.
During your stay, I am happy to recommend restaurants, day trips, spas, parks, or interesting things to do around the area, as Peekskill is considered the heart of Westchester County. You can also check out our free guidebook.
We also host tours, so if you would like to book our Morning Coffee and Desert walking tour or the Afternoon Bar Crawl, just shoot me a message after you have made your reservation. You can book the tours as an individual or as a group.
