Albeit older, this is actually a nice hotel, and the staff is excellent, but hotel overall lacks certain things that may dissuade a customer.
The lack of an elevator to get to the second floor really negatively affects the elderly and those with disabilities. Bathroom had light but no fan and sink was separate from room. Fridge had temp and condensation problems, so one has to work with it. Breakfast okay, but unless one’s creative with mix and matching items, you’ll probably want to go somewhere else after the second day of stay for variety.
On the positive side, located in safe area and parking was plentiful and safe. Room very clean and spacious. Wi-Fi had decent enough band-width to watch/listen to streaming services on personal devices. AC good once you get to know the settings. Really big tv. Pool good, hot tub actually great.
Only vending was one machine that was limited in items, but there’s a local supermarket within 50 yards, a regional convenience chain about an one-minute drive away and a “hyper-market” within three minutes. So if you forgot something, or need to restock on things while passing by, you’re gonna be in good shape.
Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel and the people that work there. It’s an older property, but the folx currently running it are trying their best to make it work in today’s lodging landscape.
I wish Wyndham would allocate some funds to build an elevator for the property.
