「We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful scenery and very comfortable. Henry, the property owner was super friendly from the start! He was easy to talk to and very kind to me. Always ready to answer any questions and very helpful. We would love to come back. Thank you so much Henry!」

「We rented this property with two other families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with towels, kitchen essentials, and even some outdoor toys and life jackets. We made use of the kayaks, hockey nets and basketball net. Justin is extremely prompt with communication and a pleasure to deal with. Location is less than 10 minutes off of Highway 400 - very convenient for those coming from the GTA. Would definitely recommend!」

「Stayed at this cottage for a 3 night getaway. Since the cottage is only 2 years old, everything is new, clean, comfortable and very bright. Great location right on the water, which made it a great spot to watch the boats go by, and spectacular sunsets. Grocery store and Walmart are only 5 minutes away, as are other stores, and restaurants.」

「Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. 」

「I received no information from the host about accessing the rental. The two phone numbers on the listing do not connect to the host. Thankfully a neighbour had the host's number or we may not have gotten in! The staircase to the apt. is treacherous and the place had a musty odour. There was black mold in the closets and only bottom sheets on the beds. There was no page of information for the unit.The airconditioning worked well, as did the shower head. 」

「We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. 」

「This unit isn’t anything special; cheaply renovated, poorly decorated, oddly shaped. The toilets are sensitive, so we were instructed to not flush toilet paper and the shower didn’t drain properly. We found evidence of mice in the kitchen. We didn’t have enough towels for our group. However, otherwise we had all we needed, including a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, though lacked top sheets. Overall it was okay for the short stay when there was nothing else...

「The cottage was perfect for our family reunion. Big enough for 11 adults and two children. The floor plan is spacious, so we never felt cramped. Some things in the house are a bit old, but still functional. We found the furnishings tasteful and harmonious. The kitchen equipment is sufficient even for a large group.
