With profound sadness and disillusionment, I share our family's distressing experience at the Cottage of Tiny Beaches in Georges Bay, Ontario. As a proud member of the esteemed Neri family, with a strong presence in this region, we anticipated a warm and welcoming stay. Instead, our entire family, including our sensitive children, endured an unbearable and heartbreaking experience.
As a seasoned real estate developer in Australia, with a portfolio of luxury properties, I understand the importance of exceptional customer service and hospitality. Unfortunately, the owners and caretakers of this property failed to meet even the most basic standards. The absence of essential amenities, such as adequate rubbish bins, and the expectation that we carry our trash back to Toronto is unacceptable and inhumane.
The laundry room, a fundamental facility, was inaccessible, and contracts were unclear, with terms sent last-minute, without prior disclosure on VRBO. The request for a deposit, with a vague promise of return after three days, is unprofessional and unethical.
