This place was beautiful! Great location! Great staff!. We had to leave unfortunately before free breakfast, but the staff packed us lunch bags to take with us in the morning. Everything was phenomenal, wish we stayed longer. Thanks!

a friendly greeting and intro, a clean room tastefully and artistically out-of-the-box decor using economic resources uniquely - and well designed function. Appreciated that bikes were free to use with signing for responsibility. Location was close to water - though no view. Breakfast was simple but prepared to your order and was enjoyable. Parkjng was very close - just outside the courtyard door and free - side street with little traffic.

The Experience is Everything!

The breakfast was so wonderful and homespun. I loved the ambiance and the cool casual vibe. The room had everything I needed and decor perfectly captured the feel of the town. I’ll be back for sure!

Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room, fresh and tasty brekky (love that they male it to order intead of a buffet style to minimise waste), close to the beach and within walking distance to some great eating options. Highly recommend Quint Aessencia for delish brekky, hand made croissants, cottage cheese pancakes or iced matcha late. Pizzaria do carmo peniche for excellent pizza and tasca do joel for simple but tasty seafood (a little pricey but worth it).

Had a lovely room with private bathroom. Was very quiet. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. The fresh oranges are AMAZING!!! Quiet area. Good base for day trips further afield.

Unique place to stay

Very unique and comfortable place. The bed was perfect for my bad back. The staff of girls were helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. You order from the list of the different foods and drinks. The girls did a wonderful job preparing and serving breakfast.

The service was excellent, the breakfasts good, the rooms clean. Simple provisions. A bit expensive for what it is. The street lights were brightly lit and street noise was loud (kept windows open as there is no air conditioning) so sleeping was difficult. Shower was broken. But the women who worked there were genuinely kind and accommodating. It felt quite safe as well.
