Wonderful host, excellent overall stay. The only challenge is accessing the hotel up through winding cobblestone streets. Once there the area is very beautiful with incredible views.

The proprietress of the hotel was truly phenomenal. She was so helpful and friendly. We were grateful for her assistance in so many ways. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the medieval city of Peñíscola. It is cute and clean. And they have a wonderful restaurant. We had breakfast there all 4 mornings that we stayed. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. If you are considering a visit to Peñíscola, stay at the Hostal Dios Esta Bien!!

Our room and bathroom were small, but charming and spotless. It was great for two nights. We had a balcony that overlooked the quiet narrow street. The breakfast was the best so far on our trip: homemade bread, marmalade, and tomato relish. Xavier and Mia are amazing cooks and hosts. Pack light. It is all uphill on the way to the castle to get to this lovely hostel. But so worth the walk.

Incredible place

My stay was excellent as the owners and staff were always checking in with me to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was just the right size and the bed very comfortable. The rooftop deck was nice and had great views. Central location to all the sights as well as easy access to the beach. The breakfast here is amazing as they make their own bread and jam. Definitely an excellent place to stay.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful with all the luggage we had. The room was comfortable and had everything you needed. The only issue was the lack of a good wifi connection for remote work. Wifi was very slow and sometimes did not connect at all. The breakfast was very good and no need to go elsewhere for breakfast. The place was centrally located in the old town and walkable everywhere. Make sure to pack light since carrying bags up and down hills was a lot of work. But we really enjoyed our peaceful stay.
