“This could be a very nice rental, but a lot needs to be fixed and cleaned up. Currently there is no access to the lake the house is on as far as kayaking, boating, paddle boating, or fishing. The only thing accessible is the view. The fire ring was nice and the view was beautiful. I asked about access to the lake before our check-in day and did not get a response to that question until we were already there for 4+ days. I hope things get fixed up, because it could be very nice. The wildlife……

It started with an entertaining and educational tour from the hosts, Eleanor and Kurt, which included historical photos and family lineage at their small village. The cottage and surroundings felt more like Edwardian England than Bucks County. “This historic cottage on the oldest golf course in the United States was a gem of a find. The inside was beautifully decorated but with a modern update including the kitchen with all the conveniences. Everything we needed was there. We loved sitting on the porch in the lovely wooden rockers and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and other birds and wildlife as well as golfers on the course. The host was very responsive to messages. We would highly recommend a stay at Tarry Moore……
