Turn the other direction out of the campground and in ten minutes you will enter Pisgah National Forest, with more breathtaking views and gifts of Nature! You are within 15 minutes of Brevard, N.C. or Historic Downtown Hendersonville, N.C. with unique shops and first-class restaurants! The only toilet facilities was a porta potty which smelled and looked like it had not been emptied in months. Shower did not have a way to lock the door of the only shower, to keep others out. We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in.

Camping right along the River was beautiful. Excellent service and clean bathrooms. Easy check in and out.

Great little camping spot!

Great little place to prop up a tent! The location is perfect - 15 minutes from town and Blue Ridge Parkway access. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. The campsite itself was big and clean. The garden and creek were nice additions!

Nice campground

I've stayed here 3 times, and it's always a pleasure. There was only 1 other group camping here last weekend, and they were nice and quiet. All we could hear at night were the occasional car on the road and the animal sounds from a nearby pasture. I'll definitely stay here again. Only downsides are the service fee when you book the reservation (which basically doubles the price of a 1-night stay), and the proximity to the road leads to a lot of road noise when there is traffic.

Super easy

It is exactly what is advertised, I need a spot to throw up a tent for the night and it fulfilled exactly what it needed. I do wish the service fee wasn't as much as the site fee. Without Covid causing limited sites in the area I would have most likely stayed somewhere else.

Great weekend

Great weekend in the smokies. Very easy to book, check in and all around good experience. Doug was very helpful. Campsite was very close to Du Pont State Forest.

great place

Very easy to find. Very friendly manager.the cleanist porta john. nice facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay.
