Great location!
The house was perfect for our family vacation. Had one issue and the fixed it right away. Close to the small lake and LakeMichigan. Would love to go back.

Great house
The lay out of this house is perfect! 2 bedrooms upstairs off of living room. There is 1 bedroom on first floor and 2 more bedrooms & 2nd bath upstairs above garage right off the kitchen! Perfect size for a large group! Queens & full size beds were not comfortable. The twins were. They had everything we needed! Great washer & dryer! We enjoyed the fire pit at night!

Pentwater 2023
This property location and set up was great. It had plenty of room for our kids and grandkids! The proximity to all the things to do in the area was perfect, it was literally 15 minutes from everything! The owners had prepared great information on what to see and do in the area which was extremely helpful. I will say some of the property needs some updating but would definitely stay here again!

Quiet lake vibes
We stayed with family and enjoyed our stay! Close to the beaches and downtown Pentwater and Ludington also, for anything you needed or just a quick run for ice cream! We would stay again! Management was friendly and quick to respond to questions.

Pentwater 2021
The house was super cute, little musty smell. Location to downtown Pentwater was maybe 7-8 minutes? Close to Silver Lake and Ludington. House was in the perfect location if you’re not looking for water front. Checking in was an issue. We did not receive instruction so we assumed we’d receive something once we arrived. Daughter showed up first so then we started freaking out because there were no instructions. I could not get ahold of anyone! It took me about four calls to finally get ahold of a person. The check in email was sent. Daughter was then able to get in the house.

Three generations having fun!
It was Grandma, adult children and 5 grandkids, 10 and under. The layout of the home was perfect for us, all the kids in the wing away from the adults. Perfect!

Harbor Haven
We had a great time despite the rainy weather. Location was very good. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. We had a very quick response from the rental company when we did have an issue such as no hot water upon arrival which was fixed the very next day. There were mice in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and dead chipmunks in the other bedroom on the same side of the house. These were discovered at the end of the week and rental co was notified.

Wonderful large cottage
We traveled with 8 friends for a weekend get away and had an absolutely wonderful time. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and it had many extras. (Great fire pit, lake access across the street, board games, WiFi and more). Unfortunately we didn’t have success streaming services on the TV. Over three days, we tried everything. Some guys in our group wanted to watch NASCAR and football. Besides that, which personally I didn’t mind, enjoyed our time together, we had a blast. We highly recommend this as your next rental. Looking forward to booking again in September 2021.

Spacious, cozy, and room to roam. They had many accommodations such as bikes, coolers, and tubes for the kids. Friendly neighbors made it a bonus! Hope to return soon!

Wonderful property with access to Bass Lake and close to Ludington. The fire pit and gas grill were welcome additions. The property is on a very quiet street which is perfect for kids to bike up and down.

This rental was just what are family needed, the home was really nice except some minor things like not as clean as except, the refrigerator lining was broken, so food didn't stay as cold. Great location to enjoy different lakes and what they have to offer. Space to ride atv without having to go far just for some everyday fun. My family and I will be returning for another stay.

There were 2 families that stayed. It was a perfect set up. The house is split perfect for 2 families. The picture of the property was a little misleading, there isn't water access. You can see the lake, but you have to drive to get to it. It wasn't super clean when we checked in. It looked like a quick clean, but it hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time. Overall, it was a nice relaxing property for a long weekend get away.

Covid-19 rescheduled wedding
We booked the cabin to attend a rescheduled wedding on Bass Lake. The location was perfect (within walking distance) and there was plenty of room for everyone to stay. We extended the stay a few extra days to enjoy Pentwater and Lundington.

Nice location and great set up
Property is very clean, modern conveniences and furniture. Bedrooms are in separate areas, so very nice for family group. Kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, pans, utensils etc. and it was nice having an ice maker in fridge. A/C units in each room worked great for individual control. Outdoor fire pit was nice to use. Bass Lake water level is pretty high right now, so the access across the street was pretty flooded where the dock was. We mainly went to Lake Michigan beach, so truly enjoyed the area of Pentwater and Lake Michigan. This house was a great location for being close to Pentwater. We would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful and relaxing home
It was a fantastic place for our family! Rooms for each family and grandkids upstairs plus a room for Memaw and Papaw downstairs! The outside front and back yards were so relaxing . Our family time around the fire pit was so special....SMORES!! Access to Bass Lake was beautiful. The town of Pentwater and the beach there was a short drive and so beautiful!! Thank you for providing your home to us .

Our stay was very nice. One issue we had regarding trash was resolved.
The kitchen remodel was very nice. Towels, linens, kitchen appliances, utensils, dishes etc. terrific. How wonderful to have a huge backyard, fire pit and brand-new gas grill (with a full tank of propane readily available!) My grand daughter even learned how to pedal a bike with training wheels. So very nice to have a beautiful, full laundry accessibility. Room air conditioners so quiet and comfortable. All bedrooms decorated very pretty and welcoming. Amenities- TV, internet service and sound speaker quite nice! I did have a couple of concerns. The entrance door to the mudroom needs a new lock, door very difficult to open and close. Also, when we arrived, the dryer was filled to capacity with so many wet bed linens, it took two people just to untangle them! I rewashed them all in three separate loads and folded all of them.

Lovely property, great location, access to beautiful Bass Lake
We have rented properties in Pentwater for 6 yrs & have been very pleased. Unfortunately this house was not clean and had a strong musty odor in the upstairs bedrooms. Also some of the linens that were to be provided were not so we had to drive to Ludington to purchase them.

We loved Making Memories here. A very peaceful, comfortable cottage with all the amenities.
All ten of us (including 6 children) thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. After a day of visiting local beaches, kayaking, dune rides, go carts, or putt putt golf it was relaxing to return to the cottage 'in the woods'. Some would walk to the lake for fishing and/or swimming or go for a walk on the road looking for deer or take a bike ride while others prepared dinner. The fire pit in the backyard was ideal for roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores, reminiscing the fun times of the day, and making plans for the next. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We would definitely return for another stay.

The house was clean and beautifully decorated.
We had a great family weekend at Harbor Haven! The house is beautiful, and the yard was great. The bbq grill and fire pit were a definite bonus. The owner was quick to respond to anything we needed. We hope to stay again soon!
