The place was nice enough but I had luggage that had to be hauled up the stairs. It was just a basic hotel for the night so it did the trick but no frills.

I know this was a last minute reservation, but we were not informed that the restaurant was closed. We specifically booked this hotel as we were travelling up to the ferry in St Malo and wanted overnight accommodation with food, so that we didn’t need to venture out of the hotel.

The hotel was great for a stop over on our trip. It was disappointing to find the restaurant closed on a Friday evening as we were looking forward to it but the lovely receptionist booked us in a restaurant in the centre which was within walking distance & we had a lovely meal. She even checked we could bring our dog, great service!

Best nights sleep!

Although not an outstanding stay we had the best sleep here of our 10 day trip! The last time we stayed at a Brit hotel in France we said pretty much the same. Best nights sleep of our trip via France to Italy. Not sure why but will definitely chose this hotel group again !

Very friendly staff and helpful. Beds are ok comfort wise. I suggest renting a car as we got stuck walking back from La Rochelle as we couldn’t get an Uber.

We were allocated a room with a large bathroom for a disabled person as we wanted a groundfloor room and it was the only one available. The bedroom was in consequence a little smaller than others, but still acceptable. We enjoyed having BBC World TV We were surprised to find the restaurant closed for the weekend after Friday lunch. A bistro in Perigny ran by an English woman did a light meal but there is no full restaurant in the vicinity. This did not bother us as we intended to eat in the centre of La Rochelle or out at St Martin de Ré.

We were traveling down to the south of Spain so this was a two night stop over on New Years Eve and New Years day. We were told there was no food available on arrival so we went to a local Patisserie and got a mixture to eat. On New Years day we asked could we buy some bread and cheese or anything but we were told no and no advice where to get anything. So we had nothing to eat for 24 hours. one staff member on arrival was very nice but other than that it was terrible.

Très satisfaite de notre séjour !

Nous avons passé le week-end à la Rochelle, nous avons donc réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel, qui est à quelques minutes de la Rochelle, avec un parking gratuit. Lit confortable, tout était propre, la clim est appréciable surtout au vue de ces dernières chaleurs... L'accueil était très agréable, grande salle de restauration ainsi qu'une grande terrasse.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de deux nuits au Brit Hotel de La Rochelle. La chambre était d'une propreté impeccable et la literie, particulièrement confortable, nous a permis de passer deux bonnes nuits. La salle de bain, bien que de taille modeste, était très fonctionnelle et également très propre. L'accueil que nous avons reçu a été très chaleureux et agréable. Enfin, malgré la proximité d'un important rond-point, nous avons été agréablement surpris par le calme de la chambre. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement
