Claude and Ginette were incredibly helpful in familiarizing us with the property and the area (groceries, markets, cafes, etc.) and provided very useful tips for negotiating local visits. They could not have been nicer. We would rebook this apartment without hesitation.

Prime location

Apartment was a bit dated, but overall a great location, off-site parking and the owners are so lovely and caring! Perfect for 2 people and the washer/dryer was a lifesaver. Highly recommend. Périgueux is a great town.

Perigueux stay

A lovely and conveniently located apartment in Perigueux. ery well appointed and made for a carefree stay. A bonus was the underground parking, even if it was a little tricky to access.

Spacious apartment with elevator and garage

This was our second time staying at the apartment. It is well located - easy walking distance to E. Leclerc supermarket and to the Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy cheeses, fresh produce, nougat, etc. Great location for visiting Sorge, Monbazillac , etc. About an hour’s drive to Sarlat. Very good communication with hosts- you may need to use Google translate if your French is limited. Great value for the location and amenities. An older apartment. We would stay again.

Central location, highly convenient

We stayed in the property in Jan 2024 and found it to be a wonderfully central location with easy walking access to the main market, boulangeries, supermarkets and cafe/restaurants. The apartment was clean and well presented and the hosts were lovely. Highly recommended.

Splendid apartment in a decent location. The apartment block was very quiet. The style was unique as you can see from the photos, but very comfortable. Electric shutters all round made nights sufficiently dark and quiet. Ginette & Claude were lovely and extremely helpful, going above and beyond in explaining everything about the apartment and general area. We managed to get through the communication problems caused by my poor French.

Well-located apartment

A comfortable and well located apartment a few minutes walk from the old town. Ginette and Claude were excellent hosts who were prompt and took the time to show us the features of the apartment. All of the standard conveniences are included, although there is no AC, so good to shut the windows and shutters during the day. A note: For travellers with large vehicles (e.g. SUV), the garage entrance is a bit tricky. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Périgueux.

In the heart of Périgueux

A comfortable, well equipped apartment very close to the centre of Périgueux, literally only 5 minutes walk away. The apartment has it's own parking space in the secure underground car park, which is a god send as on street parking is limited and expensive. There is a well stocked medium sized supermarket within 5 minutes walk which has its own boulangerie that makes its own excellent bread. There are many different places to see nearby, too many for just a week's stay. The owners, M et Mme. Mansoy are extremely helpful and delightful people. The time spent at Périgueux was one of our favourite holidays.

Gracious Hosts- Great Location

Hosts were waiting to show us around the apartment and tell us how everything worked. Our host even drove into the garage to show us tricky areas. Pros- Very responsive hosts. Had a problem with the garage door opener. Our host came within 15 minutes to exchange it. The apartment is centrally located and easy walking distance to the old town, the old town market, grocery stores, etc. A rolling shopping cart in the apartment was very useful. Apartment is spacious, has a full-sized refrigerator with small top freezer, small dishwasher, kettle, old-style drip coffee maker, and full stove/oven. Garage meant no parking issues. Cons- There is an elevator, but there are about 5 steps into the building before you access it and it doesn’t go down to the garage, you have to exit the building, use the garage door opener, and walk to your car. Be sure to note location of light switches, as lights come on automatically, but are timed. Parking is tight, so a large car might pose a problem. We visited in winter - there is a regulator on the thermostat that prevents you from raising the temperature over a certain level. We didn’t complain, just used provided extra blankets and bundled up. Supplies are only provided to get you started- 1 roll of toilet paper, no coffee, no paper towels, etc. Internet was unreliable, sometimes working well, other times not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt that the apartment was a good value for the price. We would stay here again.

Genette und Claude haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie haben sich die Zeit genommen uns durch die Wohnung zu führen, um alles Wichtige genau zu erklären. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet. Dies unterscheidet sie merklich von den oftmals unpersönlich eingerichteten Ferienappartments. Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Sie liegt nicht straßenseitig, daher ist es unter Tag sowie in der Nacht sehr ruhig. Sehr angenehm ist, dass sie sehr zentral liegt. Man erreicht fußläufig die schöne Altstadt und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Da es zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts sehr heiß war, wäre eine Klimaanlage angenehm gewesen.Die Ventilatoren haben dennoch etwas geholfen.

Nous avons visité quelques grottes , les musés , despetits villages aussi le cinéma de PERIGEUX . Dommage que les hôtels du tourisme sont fermés à cette époque.Mais aucun regret de ce côté là .

Séjour périguourdin.

Nous étions comme chez nous. M et Mme Mansoy nous ont très bien reçu. L'appartement est près du centre ville, calme et avec parking. Périgueux est une ville à découvrir avec ses quartiers anciens et romains. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La location est à retenir. M et Mme Delavergne.

Une semaine bien occupée

L appartement est vaste, entretenu avec soin et dispose de toutes les commodités. Situé à 10 min à pied du centre pietonnier et historique de Périgueux, mais aussi des commerces de proximité. La voiture est heureusement stationnée en parking souterrain et permet des visites dans un proche périmètre comme Hautefort, Brantome, Bourdeilles. En résumé un sejour très réussi et une hôte à l'écoute qui nous donne envie de revenir !
