「Perfect get away. This place is about as authentic as it gets. The photos are great, but the true rustic feel can only really be grasped in person. The host is very accommodating and has put a lot of thought into his hospitality. There are chickens that supply eggs. We received honey and bread. It is quiet and so relaxing. We already want to go back. 」

「Very clean house with everything you would need for a short or long stay. There is a seating area out back where you can enjoy watching the wild life in the woods. The owner is supper nice.」

「The cabin was perfect, neat and clean, it had all we needed for the stay. This will be a perfect place to spend with family away from busy schedule, host was very friendly and kind, replies fast. We stayed three nights, there isnt much to explore around but it was relaxing.!! We went to ponoma natural bridge, Bald knob Cross and Cedar Lake beach.」

「Great spot, very peaceful setting, all the cooking options you could want. Cleanliness was top notch and the bedding was very comfy. Really enjoyed dinner on the deck then took a stroll around the neighborhood. Great experience would stay here again for sure. 」

「My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! 」

「Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!」

「I will only stay at this house when we come to this area. The host is amazing. The property is well taken care of and host is available for any questions or concerns. All you need when you come is your suitcase. Literally everything you need is provided at no extra fee. We have stayed twice there and as I said before, we will only stay at this property when we are in this area!!!!!」

「We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! 」
