「nice and clean hotel, worrh to come again」

「Shared canteen area is messy and not the cleanest. Shared bathroom upstairs has a shower which doesn't work. Television didn't work in my room (possibly the remote) - but it was very late and I couldn't be bothered chasing this up. I was awoken by very loud noises of arguing and fighting around 2.45am. I thought something serious was happening - but then realised the person in the next room had their television om at an unbearably loud volume. I obviously didn't want to knock their door and ask...

「Booked a room, no email 24hrs before with information. Turned up with the manager, who was luckily on site, not knowing a single thing about us arriving. Got put in a room not big enough for us. Owner claimed we hadnt booked the right room, which wasnt true. The manger was lovely and helpful but the owner wasnt. Room TV was smashed so couldnt be used. This is more like a hostel, bathrooms arent private but shared. Wouldn't recommend and definitely wont be returning. Not worth the money.」

「After vacationing in Scotland for 2 weeks and staying in multiple places, this was by far one of our favorites. Clean, safe, with great hospitality by the owner. Breakfast was great as well. It’s a fantastic house and is well maintained in a great location. I had researched this house before our trip, but booked it last minute based on our location at the time in Scotland. Very happy I was able to stay here and enjoy it. As a high Expedia user, I strongly recommend this place. 」
