Quokka at White Gum Lodge

Modern and newly renovated studio in a quiet neighbourhood which is thoughtfully designed and stylish. This is a perfect size holiday home for four. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can easily relax on the expansive deck. All linen and towels are provided.

There are two parks close-by South Beach and the centre of Fremantle a five-minute drive away. The Wray Avenue precinct with lovely shops and cafes is only a 15-minute stroll away. Enjoy the vicinity of the city while staying in a quiet part of Fremantle.

The Quokka

Great place to stay, close to Fremantle and eating out venues. Steps leading down to the Units need better lighting. Other than that we had a pleasant stay. Thankyou.

Great little place

Great little place, very clean and tidy and with everything we needed. The only trouble we had was with parking as the designated car parks were always taken up. Very convenient location!

Adequate for what we needed as a base to venture out from

Pro -Very clean -Quiet neighbourhood -Rooms larger than appeared on advertised photos. . Cons -Charged $7 extra with no explanation why of why. Have not been able to get a receipt from the owners to confirm why. -Outside lighting poor (sensor light didn't work at all, made entry stairs precarious to navigate at night). This also made using the bbq at night not viable. -bbq's (2 of them) were rusty and appeared that have not been used in a long time. -Floor between kitchen and lounge is different by about 10cm and is ramped. Be careful, this was unexpected and can cause you to stumble if unaware. -Fridge is mini bar sized with a small freezer area. Might not suit large family looking to stock up over longer stays. -Stayz made the booking process easy. However, trying to get a receipt from the owners (not Stayz) is proving difficult. A receipt should have been sent with the booking but was not. Chasing them up has resulted in return calls not being kept. Went back to Stayz for help (not their responsibility) and their assistance was excellent and they have passed messages to the owners but still nothing. This aspect of the experience has been disappointing and is still unresolved. Overall -Would we stay there again? Possibly, the price was fair, very clean, but the includes like the mini shampoos were limited considering we booked for 4 adults. The fry pans and cooking goods were Aldi or Big W, ok for the price but cheapens the place, not a deal breaker.

Tidy clean apartment. Comfy beds & pillows. Very tiny lounge/dining room area (2 adults only fit). Second bedroom no windows. Bad ventilation in newly renovated bathroom.

Cosy, neat room

Quokka at Whitegum was perfect for our 2 night stay. The lounge/TV room is quite pokey so if you are planning a longer stay and there is more than two of you, you’d want to consider another option. The kitchen is spacious enough and the beds are comfy.

Fairly central location and not too far to the main coffee strip in Freo. Nice little place with some nice amenities. The outdoor area is lovely for a morning coffee or late afternoon drink!

Clean & Tidy

Overall clean & tidy and comfortable enough for what we needed. Easy parking & everything we could need for our stay. Could hear neighbors talking & coughing through the closed in doorway in the twin room (only while they were in their kitchen). Would definatley stay again.

Great little house. Love the decor. Bedrooms good size. Lounge very small.

Great house, loved the decor and lovely clean, freshly painted etc. lounge needs some work. Very small as well. Bathroom very nice but needs better ventilation from steam. Also the shower curtain blows into you whilst I shower. Didn’t like that! All in all very good stay. Easy drive & Uber into Freo. Like the outdoor area for summer. Driveway needs attention as curb was very high when 2 cars are parked. Thank you!
