“This motel is a real gem. The owners have been operating it for almost 30 years, and you'd never know the motel was that old. Our room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The grounds are picturesque. The owners are super friendly, and I actually observed an interaction between one of them and an employee, and she was kind to her employee. That speaks volumes to me. While I can't imagine having cause to visit Stratford overnight again, if we do, we are definitely staying at the Suburban……

“Marriot brand is supposed to be like Hilton, Sheraton etc.. with good quality appliances and bedding and linens. That is why we pay some extra money for theses brands more than mid end hotels like Best Western etc.. But… this facility is not living up to its brand with 2nd grade appliances like Danny and lower grade TVs and bedding and linens. Shower door could not close fully and the switch inside washroom is located inside. And, It is a brand new facility.”

“The "Woodstock Inn and Suites" are represented by Expedia. On the site, it says that there is a complimentary breakfast, but there was not any breakfast. The receptionist told us that they discontinued the complimentary breakfast, but that Expedia won't remove that from the listing. That was a disappointment. There was also confusion about available overnight parking. It took some time to figure out where we could park. Eventually the receptionist provided us with a parking……

“Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are "basic and a little tired" but clean. We came for Stratford Festival so we only slept here. Reasonably priced for that purpose. Air conditioning worked well. Room temperature was perfect. Lots of parking. Nice that they have complimentary coffee and tea”

“The room was clean. It was nicely decorated and felt cozy. It is in walking distance to downtown.”

“Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room.”

“Cute room great location. A bit of noise from the bar at night but not too bad. Our room had a beautiful tub but did not have a standing shower if that is important to you.”
