Ne pas se fier aux photos et au descriptif du site

Malgré le charme de l'environnement campagne du gîte, la description, les équipements et la qualité générale étaient très très loin de la vérité. Gîte très sale (toiles d'araignées partout), literie douteuse (tâches sur le matelas et pas de protège matelas). Robinetteries cuisine et salle d'eau défectueuses, petit électroménager entartré et sale, lave-vaisselle très sale et non vidé (depuis combien de temps ?) le four très ancrassé, les poêles plus qu'usées et sales (graisses) 1 seule casserole piquée. La vaisselle était couverte de tartre... La propriétaire a constaté dès notre arrivée l'état de son gîte ; elle est revenue avec un aspirateur qu'elle a passé à dans la chambre mais ne s'est pas inquiétée de la pièce de vie. On nous avait assuré un parking sécurisé et fermé la nuit (pour nos vélos) mais la barrière n'a jamais été fermée. Notre séjour a bien entendu été totalement gâché par l'insalubrité des lieux. Nous avions réservé 2 semaines ce qui représente un coût ! Extrêmement déçus de l'expérience ABRITEL, nous aimerions savoir comment les gîtes sont contrôlés, quelles sont les obligations des propriétaires ? Mettre des photos et un descriptif en ligne qui datent de plusieurs années mériteraient un suivi sérieux et professionnel. Nous ne renouvellerons pas notre expérience Abritel en raison du manque de sérieux et des annonces mensongères. Peut-on imaginer un remboursement partiel de notre facture suite à ces désagréments et à l'impact que cela a eu sur nos 2 semaines de vacances. Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans le gîte grain d'orge. Décoré avec soin, au calme. Une hôtesse charmante, dont nous avons profité des talents culinaire, avec le petit plus, être servi à table dans notre propre gîte.

Bel endroit, belle petite maisonnette !

Après une année 2020 particulièrement "spéciale"... Nous avons décidé de nous échapper un peu à 2 pour le réveillon du Jour de l'An. Magnifique petit gîte "Grain d'Orge" ! Jolie décoration actuelle mais aussi faite d'objets de récup' ! Parfaite association ! Il ne manque rien d'un point de vue équipement de la maison : TOP ! Nous avons choisi de nous faire "livrer" les petits-déjeuners, et les petits paniers sont très très bien garnis ! Un petit plaisir ! Nous avons également apprécié le côté "renouvelable" et "durable" proposé par Julie et son mari ; en effet, le gîte possède un petit poulailler ! Hop ! Tous les déchets organiques aux poules ;) Par ailleurs, nous avions d'un côté des chevaux, un coq et ses poules et des vaches évidemment. Véritablement, nous recommandons le Clos Charmaine, et nous gardons précieusement cette adresse pour d'autres escapades ! Audrey & Jérôme

Leuke vakantiewoning dichtbij de kust

Leuke vakantiewoning vlak bij alle mooie vissersdorpjes. Woning is netjes en schoon en ligt in een heel bijzonder oud gebouw. Kijkt vrij uit over de weide waar we o.a. een fazanthaan hebben gespot. Het huisje is een ideale uitvalsbasis om leuke dorpjes te bekijken als Veules-les-Roses, Dieppe, Le Tréport, Eu en de baai van de Somme. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goed adres!

Belle propriété ..

Tbelle bâtisse ancienne et joli endroit, bucolique à souhait. Il gagnerait à fournir une prestation plus soignée (accueil, propreté, entretien de l'équipement ..). Manque un espace buanderie pour les 3 gîtes présents sur place. Bonne localisation pour rayonner et se poser au calme le soir.

Très agréable mais manque de propreté

Cadre très apaisant et agréable dommage que l'appartement n'était pas propre : beaucoup de poussière partout dans la chambre, acariens dans le lit qui ont empêché mon compagnon de dormir (allergie aux acariens), douche remplie de poussière et de calcaire. Par ailleurs c'est dommage que nous n'ayons jamais rencontré Julie...

Emplacement idéalement situé pour la découverte de la région

Sympa, propre, bien chauffé, bien situé à 10 kms de criel sur mer, du Treport, de Saint Valery sur Somme, de dieppe. Repas trois services, paniers petits déjeuners, servis pour un prix super et produits de qualité ! J'y retournerai si je désire retourner dans cette région.

a birthday weekend trip

A trip to Normandy to celebrate my birthday, Le Grain d'Orge was all it promised to be. The welcome was warm, the cottage comfortable with plenty of space to cook, and the meals provided by Julie and served by her family were delicious. The weather was good as well. Would return again. Merci.

Fantastic accommodation

Spent 5 nights at this lovely cottage; ideal for a relaxing couples break in upper Normandy. Check in easy and accomodating nothing was too much trouble. Excellent use of space and comfy bed. Highly recommend and if visiting upper Normandy again will definitely be back.
