We booked, along with another family member for a family wedding nearby. The office staff was very welcoming and the room was extremely clean with large coffee packets (not the little ones usually stocked at other places). In the bathroom there were even makeup remover packs! The only negative comment I have is there is no ice machine and the outside lights on the building were not turned on the first night of our stay, making it a bit dark. I would definitely recommend this motel and it is right across the street from the lake which I’m sure is nice in the summer. A great experience for a low price! We will be back if we come to Northern Michigan again.
