Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of sleeping space. Close to skiing and downtown restaurants. Owners were very helpful and available for any questions.

Good location

Had a great trip skiing nubs and highlands! Super short commute! Lots of sleeping options and there was a pull out sofa that wasn’t even listed. Could use a bit of updating , but it served it purpose!

Great spot!

Overall, loved the location and amenities. We always have a great time at Lakeside. The neighbors were fantastic, very friendly. The listing should be updated to remove garage availability, we really could have used it for bikes but we found an alternate. Kitchen faucet needs replacing (sprays everywhere), but the carpet was newer and everything clean.

Nice Property, Not suitable for kids with Neighbors who Harass

We’ve stayed in condos in this same neighborhood for years and always enjoyed them. However, this unit, while well priced, had a neighbor who continually harassed us for moving around in the unit as the sound carried through to his unit. The rules ask that we prevent kids from running. We did our best, but with two toddlers, it was impossible. It was suggested we were, “elephants” and we received complaints for simply being in our unit during the day. Overall, I would not return to this unit again. If you have children, stay away.

Christmas Getaway Up North

Spent our wonderful Christmas break at Lakeside. The condo was the perfect size for our family and was clean and comfortable. Close to skiing at Boyne and Nubs Nob. Also, an easy drive to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Mackinaw City for additional adventures. Highly recommend!!

Great place

The place was as advertised, clean, roomy and comfortable for our group of three couples. Abundant towels, comfortable beds, kitchen with good stock of utensils, cooking equipment. The location is excellent, across road from state park beach and easy access to wheelway. Pleasant environment. A few complaints/suggestions for improvement: The grill had apparently not been cleaned for a long time and emitted a lot of smoke when we started. The supplies left for our ten day stay for. six people (toilet paper, dishwasher detergent etc) were not adequate. We did not have access to garage, and were told we could not lock bikes outside, which was a problem since we rode bikes most days. Instructions for unusual washing machine would have been useful.

Lakeside is our favorite place to stay due to all the amenities and location. This unit was in good shape and well cared for, beautiful view of pond! My only caution would be that if you have small children that aren’t quiet:/ most of the people in building were great but some not happy with the noise kids make and this is an upper unit. I do understand that. But overall wonderful unit!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property from July 9th, through July 16, 2021. Upon arrival we were pleased with the cleaning that was done inside the unit. Parking for our three vehicles was ample and one car was able to park close in front of the garage. The unit was laid out nicely with plenty of beds for a group of seven. The appliances were up to date and very clean. Two nice balconies with a beautiful view of the pond. Very close to Round Lake making it easy to walk to the lake. A working gas BBQ grill was available for mealtime. Many closets throughout with some occupied by the owners. We had a little storage problem with three bikes and 3 kayaks. It would have been nice to be able to use the garage for the storage of these. People were pleased with the comfort of the beds. We found many pleasant people who lived near our unit. We will probably try to rent this unit again in 2022.

For the cost would have expected nicer amenities within the condo but fortunately we didn't spend much time there. Beds were not very comfortable.

Area under kitchen sink was not clean and the mattress on the front queen bed fell through the slats.. No big deal! It was mostly very clean and welcoming. Carissa was wonderful and very helpful.

Our family loved the 3 bedrooms in this condo. Great location too!

We had wonderful family time in this condo and we were so close to the state park and a short drive to downtown Petoskey.
